Mated Queens

All imported queens are mated. Each option indicates the queen type and approximate arrival date. Please note that pickup dates are estimates and may vary due to shipping. You will be notified by email once your queens have arrived.

Queen Release Suggestions:

Standard Release: Expose the candy cap immediately and allow the bees to release the queen by consuming the candy. Check after 3–4 days and manually release if necessary.

Slow Release: Leave the candy cap covered for 1–2 days to allow the colony to adjust to the queen’s scent. Then expose the candy cap and allow the bees to release her naturally. Check after 3–4 days and manually release if needed.

Important:
Always confirm the colony is queen less (no mated or virgin queen present) before introducing a new queen, or she may not be accepted.
