Come join us for a 1 hour Hive Tour at Home Grown Bee, where you’ll get an up-close look at what happens inside a real hive.

Whether you’re brand new to beekeeping, just starting to explore the idea or just curious about these wonderful pollinators, this is the perfect chance to dive in, suit up and experience the inner workings of a hive firsthand. We’ll guide you through the basics — from spotting the queen to understanding how bees make honey — and you’ll even get to interact with the bees themselves.

During the tour, you'll:

• Suit up in beekeeper gear and learn how to safely move around the hive.

• Open a hive and discover the inner workings of a live colony.

• Spot the queen, watch the bees in action, and see their different roles in the hive.

• Taste some honey!

This tour is designed for small groups to keep things personal and hands-on. No experience is necessary — just bring your curiosity and any questions you have, and we’ll be happy to answer them!
